DEADWOOD CURVES

I have named this collection Deadwood inspired by a small gold-digger town in the Black Hills, South Dakota – the site of one of the big gold rushes back in 1876. Here, the first miners encountered a gulch full of dead trees – deadwood – and a creek full of gold.
My inspiration for Deadwood Curves started with a wooden leg from an old chair. These beautiful turned profiles have infinite variations and combinations that I have scaled down to unique peaces of jewellery.
There is a perfect union in the meeting of the shape and warmth of wood with the smooth texture of metal.
This collection consists of earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces.
