DEADWOOD SQUARE

Like the Deadwood Curves, the Deadwood Square collection is inspired by a small gold-digger town, Deadwood, where the first miners encountered a gulch full of dead trees – deadwood – and a creek full of gold.
My work with these collections started with a wooden leg from an old chair. The beautiful turned profiles have infinite variations and combinations that I have scaled down to unique peaces of jewellery.
This collection is square shaped and creates an uneven and a slightly more edgy look of the jewellery.
The collection consists of earrings and rings in gold or silver.

Deadwood Square

I have named this collection Deadwood inspired by a small gold-digger town in the Black Hills, South Dakota – the site of one of the big gold rushes back in 1876. Here, the first miners encountered a gulch full of dead trees – deadwood – and a creek full of gold.
My inspiration for Deadwood Collection started with a wooden leg from an old chair. These beautiful turned profiles have infinite variations and combinations that I have scaled down to unique peaces of jewellery.
There is a perfect union in the meeting of the shape and warmth of wood with the smooth texture of metal.
This collection consists of earrings, rings and bracelets in gold or silver.
